Reporting to the HR Director, Midwest Region, as Recruiting Manager, you will manage a dispersed team of seven including Recruiters and HR Generalists handling recruiting duties. It's a great team with a nice blend of legacy and newer team members. They work well together but you will coach and further develop the team to ensure that each member is being challenged and is working to his/her full portential. Ours is a very high-volume recruiting environment where we primarily focus on placing security officers, though we do some mid-level managers, supervisors and other positions as well. To illustrate scale, even with the pandemic, we've placed over 5000 people across our region so far this year.

At G4S, at every level we are hands-on, so even though your primary responsibilities will center on people and process management, you will also jump in and do full-cycle recruiting to ensure we can meet demands. Additionally, you will set strategy and develop targeted recruiting campaigns including open houses, hiring events, and job fairs, as well as take ownership of our community outreach programs, leveraging what's in place, building relationships in the community, and creating new applicant sources. Your mission will be to ensure the team is developing a robust pipeline and creating continuous candidate flow to fill security and other positions for G4S and our clients throughout the region. Quick question for you - click here

Specifically, as Recruiting Manager, you will:
  • Directly supervise a team of recruiters
  • Actively engage with Operations and HR team members to identify staffing needs; monitor health of applicant flow into the Applicant Tracking System and take proactive measures to increase pipeline
  • Take ownership of the screening, interviewing, sourcing, and recruiting management of supervisors and security personnel job applicants
  • Track and maintain necessary data for compliance with OFCCP and EEO candidate data requirements, and to support candidate recommendations, summaries and debriefs
  • Assist in the creation of new job descriptions and advertisement requests
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System for designated areas as assigned
  • Periodically assist with personnel onboarding, to include new hire orientation
  • Actively seek out, organize and participate in job fairs, career expo, hiring events, etc. and document all outreach efforts to comply with AAP reporting; develop and maintain outreach relationships and contacts with Disabled, Veteran, Female, and Minority Organizations and Agencies
  • Approve the purchase of recruiting advertisements (online and in print) and outreach programs within budgetary restrictions and methods for implementing Employee Referral/Bonus Program
  • Ensure that field office advertising, interviewing, hiring and selection processes are in compliance with the company’s EEO and Affirmative Action policies, and applicable federal, state and local laws
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
  • Cooperate with others in/out of the department to achieve common goals
  • And much more
