To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Project Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • 3-5+ years of security, safety, or law enforcement experience in a supervisory or management capacity

  • Work history which includes:
    • Outstanding supervisory / management experience
    • Corporate management experience
    • Demonstrated knowledge of security and safety inspections

As Project Manager, you will report to the Director of Account Operations and be responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. You will be embedded at the client's site in Bloomington and be responsible for managing an operations manager and two shift supervisors who lead the day-to-day field security operations for the large corporate campus and other locations. You will be responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. Daily, you will act as the primary liaison between G4S and the client's senior leadership. In performing your role, you will also interact with property managers, customers, employees, law enforcement agencies, and other vendors, such as the SOC provider. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • General operations management including:
    • Reviewing post orders and making recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered
    • Reviewing daily log reports and providing pass downs as required
    • Ensuring officers are meeting company standards pertaining to the quality of work performed on an ongoing basis
    • Performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures, including worldwide business standards
  • General Human Resources management including employee selection and placement, performance reviews, attendance management, conflict resolution, scheduling, and payroll; you will be the primary point of contact for site HR functions
  • Reviewing alarm system open/close reports; compiling exception reports and forwarding to the appropriate security or operations manager for review
  • Providing monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues
  • Administering G4S Safety Program
  • Administering semi-annually safety review and revising the security Emergency Response plan
  • Conducting and documenting monthly testing of security systems; following through on any corrections/maintenance issues
