Ideal role for an analyst who sees marketing automation as the future of marketing

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Digital Marketing Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in database marketing and marketing automation
  • Experience with all stages of the marketing funnel for product with the ability to envision the right experience for customers, drive execution and scale the product to match business opportunities
  • Experience creating and implementing seeding, demand creation, lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to convey complex ideas, and ease in including technical or industry terms within content to be viewed by a variety of audiences (e.g. analyst, partners or customers)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Marketing Automation software (e.g. Pardot (highly preferred), Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, etc.)  Quick question for you - click here

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, as Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for studying market conditions to assess the potential sales of products and services. Your duties will include managing the marketing automation system, monitoring sales trends, gathering competitor data, preparing reports for management and utilizing statistical software for data analysis. You will develop marketing strategies for specific target audiences and evaluate the effectiveness of those campaigns.

Daily, you will serve as an individual contributor on a core, three-person team including the Manager of Digital Marketing and Communications who supports marketing campaigns through the web pages, and our Senior Graphic and Web Designer responsible for campaign creative design. A good deal of your time will be spent focusing on marketing automation using Pardot, as well as analyzing Salesforce data, to inform cross-functional Sales and Marketing teams and develop compelling, targeted and integrated marketing campaigns designed to drive sales leads.  Quick question for you - click here

Specifically, you will:
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns leveraging our marketing automation system with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers by working with the Marketing and Sales teams
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • Maintain regular measurement of the ROI of campaigns through the use of Salesforce and Pardot
  • Assign marketing qualified leads to members of the sales department and follow up where necessary
  • Analyze the data contained in various systems to help the company segment the market and therefore target our marketing efforts
  • Deliver regular reports/dashboards of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
  • Keep abreast of current trends in database marketing
  • Implement lead scoring practices to enable higher conversions of quality leads
  • Perform administrative work/data clean up within the tool
Your efforts will support a very large sales organization focused on Latin and North America. You may work directly with salespeople, but most often you will work with one of 20 marketers each assigned to a Sales team. It will be important to build relationships with your internal customers, taking a service-oriented approach but also serving as a marketing automation SME. You may also work with the Events team, providing data to inform marketing events.
